Guiding Principles
Accessible
Clear language, open documentation, and interfaces that make institutional-grade market data usable without a specialist decoder ring.
Useful
Every print, indicator, and view exists to answer a real decision — compare cities, read momentum, or prepare for tradable products.
Resourceful
We combine proprietary construction with trusted third-party inputs so coverage is deep where it matters and honest where data is thin.
Modern
Built for how markets are read today — timely updates, cross-city comparability, and tooling that feels like a terminal, not a PDF archive.
Trustworthy
Methods, revisions, and limitations are stated plainly. Confidence comes from consistency and transparency, not black-box claims.
Technical Indicators
Data
Today, we use transaction data (when available) and/or third-party indices published by local authorities or trusted businesses to construct all metrics and indicators.
We do our best to normalize data where possible and share disclaimers around discrepancies in the underlying data or indices. However, because the underlying data or indices may not match in their collection, compilation, or reporting methodologies today, we recommend that users only gather high-level or directional trends from the current analysis.
In the future, we plan to switch all underlying data and indices to that collected or compiled by us for greater transparency, accuracy and utility.
Indicators
RSI
Relative Strength Index
OscillatorOverbought / oversold
What It Is
A momentum oscillator that scores how quickly a city index has risen or fallen over a lookback window, bounded between 0 and 100.
How It's Calculated
Average gains and losses over 14 periods are compared: RSI = 100 − 100 / (1 + average gain ÷ average loss). Readings near 70+ often flag overbought conditions; near 30−, oversold.
Why It's Important
It compresses recent strength into a single, comparable number — useful for spotting stretched moves before they reverse, and for comparing momentum across cities on the same 0–100 scale.
