Much of this information does not identify users of Future and therefore is not personal information governed by this Privacy Policy.
Some property, transaction, corporate, professional, or public-record datasets may nevertheless contain information relating to identifiable individuals. Where such information is subject to applicable privacy law, we process it in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
2. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
Provide the Services
- create and administer accounts;

We may process simulation activity to:
- maintain virtual portfolios;
- calculate simulated gains and losses;
- operate leaderboards or competitions;
- display simulated trading history;
- detect abuse; and
- improve simulation mechanics.
Provide AI and Automated Features
Some Services include AI-powered features (including “Rai” insights and chat) that generate summaries, explanations, and other analytical content.
When you use these features, we may process:
- prompts and messages you submit;
- recent conversation turns in the same session;
- contextual information about the page, market, city, metrics, or other content you are viewing; and
- related technical information needed to return a response.
Future does not currently use your prompts, chat content, or other AI Feature inputs to train Future’s own proprietary models.
To generate responses, we transmit relevant inputs and context to a third-party model provider (currently OpenAI) that processes the information to return an output to us. Future does not currently store AI chat transcripts as part of your Future account; conversation history for these features is generally kept in your browser session for the active experience. Our provider processes this information to provide the AI Feature to Future under our agreement and account settings with that provider. Provider retention, logging, and any use of inputs to improve the provider’s models (if any) are governed by that agreement and those settings, and may change if we change providers or configuration. If our AI training, retention, or provider practices change materially, we will update this Privacy Policy.
Improve and Develop Future
We may use information to:
- understand product usage;
- measure feature performance;
- conduct research;
- develop new features;
- debug software;
- evaluate models;
- improve algorithms, analytics, and user interfaces;
- conduct testing and experimentation; and
- improve reliability and security.
Where appropriate, we may aggregate or de-identify information for these purposes.
Communicate With You
We may send:
- account communications;
- product updates;
- security alerts;
- support responses;
- administrative notices;
- policy updates;
- newsletters;
- research; and
- marketing communications where permitted.
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications, but we may continue sending transactional or service-related communications.
Protect Future, Users, and Others
We may use information to:
- detect and prevent fraud;
- protect account security;
- investigate abuse;
- enforce our Terms;
- prevent unauthorized scraping or access;
- detect manipulation of simulations or competitions;
- address security incidents; and
- protect our rights and those of users and others.
Comply With Law
We may use information to:
- comply with legal obligations;
- respond to lawful government requests;
- comply with court orders;
- exercise or defend legal claims;
- enforce contractual rights; and
- satisfy regulatory requirements.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
If European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other applicable law requires us to identify a legal basis for processing, our bases may include:
Performance of a contract: when processing is necessary to provide Services you request.
Legitimate interests: where reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and understand our business and Services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
Consent: where we ask you to consent to particular processing, such as certain marketing or optional cookies.
Legal obligations: where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
The applicable basis depends on the particular processing activity.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it as provided by applicable law.
4. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients.
Service Providers
We may disclose information to companies that help us:
- host infrastructure;
- store data;
- operate databases;
- provide cloud computing;
- authenticate users;
- deliver email;
- provide customer support;
- process payments;
- perform analytics;
- monitor errors and performance;
- prevent fraud;
- secure the Services;
- provide AI models or AI infrastructure; and
- otherwise operate our business.
Data, Analytics, and Technology Providers
Where necessary to deliver a feature, we may transmit queries, prompts, contextual content, identifiers, technical information, or other information to vendors that supply data, APIs, computation, mapping, analytics, AI, or other technology.
For AI Features, this includes transmitting prompts and related context to our model provider (currently OpenAI) so that a response can be generated and returned to you through the Services. As described in Section 2, Future does not currently use that content to train Future’s proprietary models.
Professional Advisers
We may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, consultants, and other professional advisers where reasonably necessary.
Business Partners
We may disclose information to business partners where necessary to provide jointly offered or integrated Services or where you direct us to do so.
Any materially different use by a partner may be governed by that partner's privacy policy.
Legal and Safety Disclosures
We may disclose information where we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to:
- comply with law or legal process;
- respond to lawful requests;
- protect rights or property;
- prevent fraud or abuse;
- protect users or others;
- investigate security incidents; or
- enforce agreements.
Corporate Transactions
We may disclose or transfer personal information in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, due diligence process, or similar corporate transaction.
Any successor may continue to process information as described in this Privacy Policy unless otherwise required by law.
With Your Direction or Consent
We may disclose information when you direct us to or consent to the disclosure.
5. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
Future does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
Future also does not “sell” or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws, including the CCPA.
We may use third-party product analytics providers (including tools such as PostHog) to help us understand how the Services are used, diagnose issues, and improve product performance. When we do, those providers process personal information—such as online identifiers, device information, and usage events—on our behalf as service providers (or equivalent under applicable law), subject to contractual restrictions limiting their use of the information to providing services to Future.
That service-provider analytics processing is not intended as a “sale” or “share” for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our advertising, analytics, or data-sharing practices change in a way that would constitute a sale, share, or targeted advertising under applicable law, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any required opt-out mechanisms.
We do not currently operate a consumer-facing cookie preference center. You may be able to control certain cookies and similar technologies through your browser or device settings. Disabling certain technologies may affect functionality of the Services.
6. Aggregated and De-Identified Information
We may create information that is aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified so that it is not reasonably capable of being associated with an individual.
We may use and disclose such information for lawful purposes, including research, analytics, product development, market analysis, benchmarking, and business operations.
Where required by applicable law, we will maintain de-identified information in de-identified form and will not attempt to re-identify it except as permitted to test our de-identification processes.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:
- provide the Services;
- maintain your account;
- preserve configurations and history;
- comply with legal obligations;
- resolve disputes;
- maintain security;
- prevent fraud and abuse;
- enforce agreements; and
- maintain appropriate business records.
Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the information, why it was collected, whether an account remains active, sensitivity, legal requirements, and operational needs.
We may retain aggregated or de-identified information for longer periods.
Deletion of an account does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of all information. Information may remain temporarily in backups or be retained where legally permitted or required.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.
However, no system, transmission method, network, or storage technology is completely secure.
We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and should notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
9. Your Privacy Choices

10. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Requests
California residents may submit requests using:
We may verify requests before providing access to or deleting information.
12. European Economic Area and United Kingdom
Where European or UK privacy laws apply, Future Global, Inc. is generally the controller of personal information processed as described in this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise stated.
You may have rights to:
- access;
- correction;
- erasure;
- restriction;
- portability;
- objection; and
- withdrawal of consent.
Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may have the right to object based on your particular circumstances.
You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
International Transfers
Future is based in the United States and may process information in the United States and other countries.
These countries may have privacy laws that differ from those where you live.
Where required, we will use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers, which may include adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another permitted mechanism.
13. Automated Processing and AI
Future may use automated systems, algorithms, models, and AI to:
- analyze usage;
- personalize interfaces;
- generate analytical content;
- classify data;
- detect abuse;
- operate simulations;
- calculate indicators;
- generate rankings or comparisons; and
- support other functionality.
Outputs about cities, markets, baskets, simulations, or economic information generally concern markets rather than legal or similarly significant decisions about individual users.
Future does not intend to use automated processing to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about individuals unless we provide any additional disclosures and rights required by applicable law.
14. Children
The Services are intended for adults.
Future does not knowingly provide the Services to children under 18 or knowingly collect personal information from them through accounts intended for the Services.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@futureofreal.com.
15. Third-Party Services
The Services may contain links to, integrations with, or content supplied by third parties.
Those third parties may separately collect information from you under their own privacy policies.
Future is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
We encourage you to review their policies.
16. Social and Authentication Services
If you sign in through or connect a third-party account, we may receive information permitted by your settings with that provider.
The provider may also receive information concerning your use of the connection.
You can generally manage these connections through your Future account or the third party.
17. Marketing
Where permitted by law, we may use contact information to tell you about Future, new functionality, research, products, or events.
You may opt out of promotional emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
We may still send non-promotional account, legal, security, or service communications.
18. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) setting. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to DNT signals, the Services do not currently respond to DNT signals.
Some browsers or extensions also support opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (“GPC”). Future does not currently respond to GPC signals. If we later implement support for GPC or other legally required opt-out preference signals—or if our practices change such that such signals become applicable—we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Future, our products, technologies, vendors, or legal obligations evolve.
We will post an updated version and revise the “Last Updated” date.
If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the Services, by email, or by another reasonable method.
